01Acceptance of terms
By browsing Script Foundation, submitting software for consideration, or reporting a correction, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
02Use of the archive
- Entries are provided for research, reference, and historical interest.
- You may quote or link to entries with attribution to Script Foundation.
- You may not scrape or bulk-reproduce the collection to build a competing archive without written permission.
- Please don't use the site in a way that disrupts it for other visitors, including automated scraping that ignores robots.txt.
03Submissions & corrections
When you submit a piece of software for consideration or report an error, you're giving us permission to review, edit, verify, and publish that information as part of an entry. Please only submit information you have the right to share, and let us know if any of it is confidential.
We review submissions on a volunteer timeline and can't guarantee that any particular submission will be added to the collection.
04Intellectual property
Original writing on Script Foundation is shared under a Creative Commons BY-SA license unless stated otherwise. Software names, logos, and trademarks referenced in our entries belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification and historical documentation, not endorsement.
05Third-party links & advertisements
Entries may link to official project websites, downloads, or documentation we don't control. We aren't responsible for the content, availability, or safety of third-party sites, including advertisements served by our ad partners.
06Disclaimers
The archive is provided "as is." We do our best to verify facts, but historical software records are sometimes incomplete or contradictory, and we can't guarantee that every detail is perfectly accurate as of today.
07Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Script Foundation and its volunteers aren't liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the project is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
